School of Business Makes Graduate Education More Accessible with Updates to Programs, Admission Requirements

With continued efforts to make graduate education more accessible and equitable for all learners, the Palumbo-Donahue School of Business at Duquesne University has made several program and admission requirement updates.

"We not only strive to make our program content leading-edge but also to deliver courses in a modality that matches students' need for flexibility," says Dr. Karen Donovan, associate dean of graduate programs and executive education.

"Additionally, we continually evaluate our admissions requirements to ensure student success while eliminating barriers to entry."

Students can now complete the following programs 100% online:

Classes for all three of these programs will be offered asynchronously, with a few synchronous virtual requirements for capstone projects.

These online modalities will give students the opportunity to learn with flexibility from teacher-scholars and industry experts who are enthusiastic about business education and helping prepare students for future careers. Additionally, students will have access to the same academic advising and career coaching that is available to on-campus students.

The School of Business will also waive GMAT/GRE requirements for qualified applicants, in addition to offering a free application and rolling admission. Applicants to the MS in Management are no longer required to submit a GMAT/GRE test score. These admission options have especially proved useful to students throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and highlight Duquesne's commitment to equity and opportunity.
